Four played, four won: Argentinos takes command of Zone B
Argentinos Juniors completed Sunday with a 2–1 victory over Racing at La Paternal. Tomás Molina opened the scoring, Racing answered through Ezequiel Cannavo despite playing much of the match short-handed, and Hernán López Muñoz supplied the winner.
The result gives Argentinos a perfect 12 points. At the other end of the emotional spectrum sits River: four Clausura matches, four defeats, and six consecutive losses across competitions after Saturday’s 1–0 defeat at Tigre.
Huracán breaks a 25-year barrier at San Lorenzo
Jordy Caicedo’s double gave Huracán a 2–0 victory in one of the weekend’s most resonant results. The Globo had not won away to San Lorenzo at the Nuevo Gasómetro in 25 years. San Lorenzo goalkeeper Orlando Gill was sent off as an already combustible clásico escaped the home side.
