About & methodology

Canada at War

Canada at War is an independent, human-editor-directed publication covering Canadian sovereignty, trade and foreign-policy pressures. AI-assisted research helps monitor and synthesize publicly available sources; editorial judgment, story selection and the publication’s viewpoint are directed by a human editor.

How we report

AI tools may assist in monitoring public reporting, official records, speeches and other publicly available material, and in organizing or synthesizing that material. They do not replace editorial judgment. Claims are attributed and linked to their source wherever possible.

We label work clearly: News synthesis brings together reported facts and source material; Analysis explains evidence and competing interpretations; Opinion states an argument or viewpoint; and Source document presents or links to primary material.

Stories carry both a publication date and an update time. When a material fact changes, we revise the story and indicate its latest update.

Corrections and contact

Accuracy matters. If you believe a story contains an error, omission or misleading formulation, send the article link, the specific point at issue and supporting material through Inflatable Authority on Bluesky (@the99.bsky.social). Verified factual corrections will be made clearly and promptly.
